Cassina

Founded by Cesare and Umberto Cassina in 1927 in Lombardy, Cassina inaugurated industrial design in Italy in the 1950s according to a completely new logic that marked the transition from artisanal to serial production. For the first time in history, internationally renowned designers and architects were directly involved in the process of creating furniture and household items, using new technologies to guarantee impeccable quality standards on a large scale.
