LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A. has designed and launched LUISAVIAROMA with the mission of offering a service exclusively dedicated to its own customers.

Items for sale on LUISAVIAROMA are intended for end customers. By “End Customers” LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A. means individuals acting outside their business or professional activity or a legal entity not devoted to resale of merchandise purchased on LUISAVIAROMA.

LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A. requires users other from “End Customers” to refrain from seeking to establish business relations with LUISAVIAROMA and from using third-party accounts to place orders on LUISAVIAROMA.

LVR reserves the right to temporarily or indefinitely block with immediate effect and without prior notice any user account found to be engaging in illicit or fraudulent activities. Likewise LVR reserves the right to immediately and without prior notice block an account if abnormal activities are detected on same account, including through use of BOTs or other tools that LVR deems may alter or affect functionality of this website and its services.
In such cases, account blocking will result in the cancellation of any accumulated LVR Privilege points and the cancellation of any orders.

According to this commercial policy, LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A. reserves the right not to process orders from individuals not acting as End Customers, as well as not to process any orders not compliant to said commercial policies.

Client requirements

In compliance with requirements of LUISAVIAROMA customers shall:

– Be an individual defined as an “End Customer”.

– Be at least 18 years old.

– Be eligible and competent to enter into legally binding contracts.

– Have a valid email address.

– Own at least one of the following: valid credit card (Visa, American Express, Mastercard), verified PayPal account, or bank account.

– Possess a Social Security Number, Tax ID Number or an assigned Importer Number from the CBP (U.S. Customs and Border Protection) to be released upon request to customs agents or shipment broker for correct clearance of U.S. Customs.

Declination of responsibility

LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A. displays information on LUISAVIAROMA to provide a service to users. Nonetheless LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A. shall not be held liable for any possible technical, material inaccuracies or typos, which shall be rectified shortly after being reported.

LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A. also reserves the right to make any corrections and changes to the website or app whenever appropriate without prior notice.

LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A. does not provide any guaranty as to compliance of information on this website or app with the laws applicable in customers’ home countries.

LUISAVIAROMA operated by LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A., is safeguarded according to international Internet standards. If properly operated, users shall not encounter viruses.

Users connecting to LUISAVIAROMA hereby acknowledge and agree that all issues related to the website or app are governed by the laws and regulations currently in force in Italy.
LUISA VIA ROMA S.p.A. does not guarantee in any way that contents of the website or app comply with laws and regulations in force in other countries. Access to LUISAVIAROMA from places where its contents are illegal is expressly prohibited. Users accessing the website or app from said locations do so at their own risk and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws.

Legal Conformity Guarantee

  1. LUISAVIAROMA shall bear liability for conformity defects that may appear in items sold to consumers within a two-year time limit from delivery.
  2. According to EU Consumer Regulations, consumer items comply with sales contract provided all of following conditions are met:

    1. They are fit for the intended purpose for which items of the same kind are normally used;
    2. They comply with the description provided by vendor LUISAVIAROMA and have the features of items that vendor LUISAVIAROMA has offered to consumers as a sample or model;
    3. They have quality and customary performance of items of the same kind, which consumers can reasonably expect by taking into account the nature of items and where appropriate public statements made either by vendor LUISAVIAROMA or by the manufacturer or by an authorized representative, especially in advertising or on labeling related to specific item features;
    4. They are also suitable for a specific intended use desired by consumers and reported to LUISAVIAROMA upon entering into sales contracts and approved by LUISAVIAROMA even by implication.

  3. In the event that consumers consider a purchased item to be non-compliant with aforementioned criteria, under below conditions consumers may alternatively and free of charge request repair or replacement of a purchased item or a price reduction or contract termination, unless above requests are groundless or physically impossible or disproportionate for LUISAVIAROMA pursuant to applicable Consumer Regulations.
  4. The request shall be made by consumers in writing by e-mail to: customerservice@luisaviaroma.com  along with details on the defect and supported by photos of the item, especially of portion(s) where consumers locate the defect. LUISAVIAROMA shall provide a written feedback within 5 (five) business days indicating appropriate methods for returning items to LUISAVIAROMA. Consumers shall be expected to return purchased items to LUISAVIAROMA within the required deadline, at no additional costs.
  5. LUISAVIAROMA shall receive items considered to be defective and shall have them checked by quality controls. In the event that no defect is identified in the item, LUISAVIAROMA shall not accept the consumer request and shall reserve the right to charge the consumer for item shipping costs.
  6. Should quality control reveal a defect and item repair or replacement be feasible, LUISAVIAROMA shall inform customer accordingly.
  7. Should quality control reveal a defect and LUISAVIAROMA already approved the consumer request for a price reduction or sales contract termination, LUISAVIAROMA shall indicate a proposed price reduction or appropriate refund procedures.
