Founded in 2012 by designer Gemma Mases, 1+ IN THE FAMILY is a Spanish brand for babies and toddlers aged 0 to 4 years old. The label makes elegant and versatile clothing for little ones in beautiful cuts and comfortable fabrics. Their understated designs make the possibility to mix and match endless, and special attention is paid to the cuddly softness of the fabrics to ensure maximum comfort. Continuous research and careful fabric selection are two of the brand’s passions and their main sources of inspiration. Their pursuit of improvement has gradually led them to replace conventional materials and introduce new sustainable ones in order to reduce the impact on the environment and human health. For that reason, all fabrics used are made by European suppliers (mainly Italian, Spanish and French) all of which hold the OEKO-TEX certificate. 1+ IN THE FAMILY collaborates with local workshops located around Barcelona, only a few kilometers away from their headquarters. Working hand in hand with local suppliers is an affirmation of their commitment to local production and guarantees better control over fair labor practices for all those people contributing to the manufacturing of their products.
