UNICEF Italia and LuisaViaRoma hosted the second UNICEF Summer Gala

Porto Cervo, Italy, August 9, 2019 – UNICEF Italia and LuisaViaRoma hosted the second UNICEF Summer Gala last night in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, a benefit event to support UNICEF’s activities to protect children’s rights worldwide.

Hosted in the magical Mediterranean atmosphere of Li Neuli Country Club, the unforgettable event featured a cocktail, a gala dinner, an auction and after party. International celebrities, philanthropists and notable guests from all over the world attended the night and helped to raise 3.5 million euros to sustain UNICEF.

The Gala’s Chairs included Adrien Brody, Alicia Silverstone, Caroline Scheufele, Christopher Walken, Claire Foy, Devon Windsor, Elsa Hosk, Emily Ratajkowski, Georgia Fowler, Georgia Gibbs, Halima Aden, Jasmine Sanders, Jordan Barrett, Leonardo Del Vecchio, Lily Aldridge, Martha Hunt, Maya Henry, Neels Visser, Noel Capri Berry, Shanina Shaik, Zoe Saldana.

The incredible performances of music icon Dame Shirley Bassey and pop-music sensation Ellie Goulding, an environment goodwill ambassador, entertained the crowd during the dinner, while an incredible live auction conducted by Alexander Gilkes included amazing vehicles including a classic 1959 Corvette, a MV Augusta F3800Motorcycle, and a Formula E BMW i8 safety car; artworks by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Ai Wei Wei, Pablo Picasso, Damien Hirst, Joan Miròé, Erwin Bohatsch, Stephen Felton, Mr, Brainwash, Vasily Klyukin, Julien Marinetti, André Saraiva, Brittney Palmer, Cracking Art & Marco Glaviano and Terry O’Neill; exclusive vacations at Soneva Maldives, the Solomon Islands, Copenhagen and an expedition to the Himalayas with explorer Johan Ernst Nilson; an intimate visit with Andrea Bocelli to his family vineyard, a full home gym by Technogym and pieces of jewelry including Chopard drop earrings from the Temptation collection, a Jacob & Co. pocket watch pendant, a diamond necklace by the House of TABAYER and a unique, handmade tourbillon watch by Mr. Franc Vila watch makers.
