Gucci remains at the top of our index thanks to creative director Alessandro Michele’s vision. At 2nd place is Bottega Veneta’s new aesthetic, brought to life by Daniel Lee who describes his design philosophy as “I want to make a statement – I don’t see the point in making fashion that doesn’t say something”. Our 3rd spot introduces sportswear brand Nike to our women’s ranking for the first time as athleisure continues to rise in the fashion world. Other brands shaking up our list include Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Balmain, Moncler and Valentino. New to our rankings but a style legend on its own, Versace takes over the 7th spot as it enters our list.
