Shipment & Fees

Express shipping cost is € 31.

Orders are subject to import fees. Payment of these import fees is the responsibility of the customer.

LUISAVIAROMA dispatches items worldwide using UPS or DHL however LUISAVIAROMA does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Shipments to EU countries do not contain invoices or any other documents indicating value of items.
As required by customs regulations shipments to non-EU countries are accompanied by invoices indicating the value of items.

Note: In the event of any inconsistency, discrepancy or divergences of interpretation between the English version and any other language versions of this publication, the English language version shall prevail.

Delivery Times

LUISAVIAROMA ships worldwide using UPS and DHL couriers.


AVAILABLE ITEMS:

Items already available in stock will be dispatched in 1-2 business days (Monday-Friday) following order completion.
During sales or special promotions, processing may take longer.

PRE-ORDER ITEMS:

Pre-order items will be shipped as soon as they have been received in our warehouse. Payment for the pre-order item(s) will be deducted in full on the same day the order is placed, despite the postponed shipment date.

We remind our new customers that LUISAVIAROMA may request a third-party supplier acting as an independent Data Controller to verify the transaction. Such process might potentially cause delays in shipping.
LUISAVIAROMA also reserves the right to dispatch ordered items only to the Billing Address provided by customers.

USA : 1-2 business days, according to the final destination
Canada: 1-3 business days, according to the final destination
Europe – European Union – Standard Shipping: 2-6 business days, according to the final destination
Europe – European Union – Express Shipping: 1-2 business days for main destinations / 2-3 business days for remote areas
Europe – Non-European Union – Express Shipping: 1-2 business days for main destinations / 2-3 business days for remote areas
United Kingdom – Express Shipping: 1-2 business days for major cities / 2-3 business days for remote areas
Latin America: 3-4 business days
Asia and the Middle East: 2-3 business days
Australia and Oceania: 4-7 business days for main destinations / 6-9 business days for remote areas

LUISAVIAROMA cannot be held responsible for delays in shipments caused by weather conditions, international customs issues or any other circumstances beyond LUISAVIAROMA’s control.

Shipment Tracking

Once the order is has been dispatched, customers will receive an email from LUISAVIAROMA specifying the tracking number and a direct link to monitor the shipment status.

In the event of delays due to customs offices, customers will be directly notified by the courier and/or LUISAVIAROMA.

Shipment Insurance

LUISAVIAROMA shipments are insured against theft and accidental damage at no additional cost to customers. Once the shipment reaches its destination, items are no longer insured.

Shipment Documents for Exotic Pelts

Shipments from LUISAVIAROMA that contain an item made with exotic pelts, endangered animals or plants, or any other material included in the Washington Convention, destined outside of the European Union by law require an extra document called C.I.T.E.S. (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).

This document acts as a passport for the item and explains that the item comes from an animal that was either farm raised or caught in the wild specifically for commerce. For more information please see: www.cites.org .

In Italy the documents are issued by Corpo Forestale dello Stato, the Italian C.I.T.E.S. Management Authority, and normally take 14 days to be processed, but unforeseen delays are possible.

The merchandise will be shipped as soon as Luisa Via Roma S.p.A. has received all necessary documentation.

In some cases, the Customs office of the final destination may ask the Client to provide an import license in order to allow the merchandise to be cleared by Customs. This import license must be requested and obtained by the Client from the designated C.I.T.E.S. Management Authority in their country, before the merchandise is shipped by Luisa Via Roma S.p.A.

Any costs involved in the process of obtaining the license are the Client’s responsibility and are not refundable by Luisa Via Roma S.p.A.
