Parisian womenswear label Coperni Femme was established in 2015 by French designers Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant. It is named after the renaissance astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus who discovered the Heliocentric theory, which states that the sun is at the center of the universe. The label uses this reference as it puts the people at the center of its creations which are both practical and experimental. In 2019, the brand relaunched with unisex pieces. Innovative designs are created with the use of their research of the interactions between fashion and society.
