Rayas Collective blends traditional Salvadoran weaving with contemporary design, creating unique basket bags handcrafted by artisan Vanesa in Nahuizalco, El Salvador. Founded in Berlin in 2022 by sisters-in-law Luisa and Consuelo after a visit to El Salvador, the brand grew from a deep admiration for the country’s resourceful and creative artisanship. Through a close partnership with Vanesa’s family, Rayas Collective is committed to preserving traditional craftsmanship, strengthening community ties, and empowering local artisans through fair, sustainable production.
