Men at work

Byeon Woo Seok, Lee Yobaek, Park Hyeonseop and Kim Young, four names on the list of need-to-know male models.

Each hails from South Korea, but the similarities stop there. Illustrated by looks from the latest Fall Winter 2015/16 men’s collections, the foursome took on four different characters for one memorable shoot.

From the unbuttoning of a Saint Laurent shirt to a glimpse of a Dsquared2 waistcoat, no one look is the same. Memorable pairings include an Alexander McQueen printed shirt with textured Dsquared2 jeans and a J.W Anderson sweater and coat.

The group’s personalities not only carries adventurous styling choices, but also transforms them into something truly unique. Everyday staples, like a Maison Margiela shearling denim jacket, mixed in with a surprising elements, Kris Van Assche kreepers or heeled Saint Laurent boots, are interesting without being outrageous.

This approach, when applied to stricter more traditional dress codes. Take work-wear for example. How you wear your suit comes down to three choices – fit, color and styling choices. Think a classic Lanvin tuxedo or, for those less inclined towards traditional tailoring, a suit by The Kooples.
