Glamour is a destination…
Vanellimelli, for short Mel, is a special kind of blogger. Her photos mirror her easy—going, spontaneous charm and her natural style. LUISAVIAROMA met the girl from Berlin shortly before her appearance on the red carpet at the BAMBI awards, the ceremony dedicated to German media: the perfect occasion to chat about glamour and other beautiful things in life.
Our interview takes place at the Berlin Mitte studio of avant-garde designer Antonia Goy, whose celebrated collection will be available on LUISAVIAROMA.COM starting January 2017. Mel’s choice from the new collection is a 70’-80’s style dress whose print, inspired by nature motives, she finds particularly delightful.
What does it take a girl like her to feel glamorous?
Finding the perfect dress is like love at first sight, Mel states with her immaculate smile. “You have to really feel it. You have to look at it and it has to be WOW.” The 70’s spirit together with an effortless ‘I don’t care’ chic make up Mel’s trends for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2017 season. For Vanellimelli glamour lies in those details that help making her feel good in her own skin: a beautiful pair of shoes, a bag, or fine lingerie that only she’s aware of.
Of course, her hometown Berlin has a special place in her heart.
This is why she hopes to see German designers, who have a multicultural and versatile style, succeed in captivating the interest of fashionistas from all around the world. According to her, the fashion scene in Berlin deserves the same recognition as in Paris, Milan and London.
LUISAVIAROMA, a long-term supporter of both emerging and established, is contributing to the movement by partnering with Der Berliner Mode Salon to support the German capital. Stay tuned for the next Berlin Diary, coming soon to LVR.COM!
This fashion blogger is such cheerful and pleasant company that we are almost sorry to see our common style adventure end for today. But travel loving Mel has to get going to the big event: destination glamour!
